Neha Gogineni


Neha Gogineni began learning Isshinryu karate with FSDC in 2010. Currently, Neha attends karate around three times a week and helps teach as often as possible. She attends many tournaments and has performed for the community several times with the friends she has made at FSDC. On August 2nd 2015, at the age of 14, Neha Gogineni tested for and received the rank of Sho Dan Ho, or first degree junior black belt, and in March 2017 she earned her second degree junior black belt.

In 2016 she was recognized as one of the Top Five Young Female Karate Ka 13-17, by the Isshinryu Hall of Fame. That same year, Neha came in 1st in kata and 3rd in kumite in the IHOF tournament.

 Aside from karate, Neha enjoys playing volleyball, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
