Rohan Challa began studying karate with FSDC in the summer of 2009 at the age of 8. In 2014, Rohan joined private class and suddenly became more interested in karate after learning new techniques and connecting Isshinryu karate to life. Rohan has competed in the FSDC, KIAI and Canton tournaments. He achieved a Sho-Dan on December 18, 2016. Rohan’s favorite part of karate is teaching .He feels that it’s a nice way to reflect on how well he knows the information and how well he can explain it to students. Most of all, he wants them to do well and achieve the belt they want. Outside of karate, Rohan enjoys playing the piano and clarinet. He also likes volunteering. Last but not least, Rohan loves spending time with family.
Rohan hopes to be the best karate student he can and hopes to use karate to help himself and others for the rest of his life.
