Dhruv joined FSDC in 2015 when he was 5. He joined FSDC because he was being bullied and he did not know how to defend himself. Since then, Dhruv has gained confidence and learned to defend himself. Dhruv competes in the FSDC tournament every year. His favorite memory of Karate was when he won 1st place in kata and 2nd place in the Champion of Champions in 2022. I enjoy learning about karate and competing in

tournaments. Along with competing, Dhruv also sings the national anthem at the tournament. 

Outside of karate, Dhruv loves music. He sings, plays the piano, violin, and guitar. In 2020, he had the opportunity to sing the national anthem for the Detroit Pistons. He also plays tennis. He also likes to swim, ice skate, rollerblade and bike. At school, Dhruv is part of Student Council, Chamber Club, Science Olympiad and Math Club. Some of his other hobbies include reading, playing outside, and building.
