She told me; “Mom, I think my karate training kicked into high gear because right away I told everyone to stop the music, barricade the doors, turn off the lights and silence their phones.” She said FSDC helped her stay calm and focused. She had the kids grab their dance sticks as weapons.”

“We have been a part of the FSDC family for five years. My son started as a five year old and has developed a love for karate! Not only do the students learn karate, they learn to work as a team, to be respectful of each other and to treat each other with kindness. My son has gained many life long skills and confidence from being a part of the FSDC family. Now he is on his way to becoming a black belt. Part of this black belt journey is learning how to teach the adults and children who are of a lower belt rank. The skill of teaching is so beneficial. He is reinforcing the skills he has learned and learning how to communicate these skills to others. We can not say enough positive things about FSDC, the staff and the students.”
