Frank has been involved with martial arts since the age of six.  He took taekwondo for about three years, then for a few years, he was involved in martial arts classes in an elementary school. He has been a member of the Family Self Defense Center since 2017.  Since joining FSDC his skills have sharpened and he feels much more confident in his abilities. He has attended two tournaments and won a few medals which he is very proud of. His favorite kata is Wansu and favorite weapon is the Nunchucks. 

In July 2023, The Isshinryu Hall of Fame board named Frank as the 1st place winner of the Male Karate Ka of the Year, winning over hundreds of other karate students all over the world. When he is not practicing karate, Frank enjoys hiking, photography, gaming, and fishing.  He also keeps busy with his business of mowing lawns and snow removal.
